A new opinion piece at The Daily Wire takes aim at modern feminism, arguing that American women have achieved unprecedented freedoms and advantages yet remain in a state of perpetual grievance — and that some have lurched toward celebrating violence.
The column, titled “The Only Thing Left For Women To Do Is Literally Get Away With Murder,” contends that after a century of hard-won victories — the vote, property rights, education, equal pay, no-fault divorce, legal abortion, workplace advancement, and the #MeToo reckoning — women now outpace men in college degrees, live longer, and suffer lower rates of suicide, drug abuse, and alcoholism. Women also “almost always” win child custody, the author notes.

“I’ve yet to hear a single celebratory cry,” the piece says, pointing instead to polling indicators that a majority of liberal women under 30 report a mental health condition, that over a quarter of unmarried, childless “girlbosses” are unhappy, and that a historically low number of women feel treated with respect.
The author attributes this discontent to a “fastidious” feminist movement that is “only getting more aggravated by her make-believe misfortunes by the minute.” The column cites Hillary Clinton’s 2016 loss to Donald Trump, Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation despite Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegation, social media’s corrosive effects, and the post-Roe political upheaval as key flashpoints.

It also takes aim at gender ideology, complaining that “men were women, women were men, pregnant mothers were birthing people, and men were doing Tampax commercials for a menstrual cycle that, luckily for them, was never going to come.”
Turning to 2026, the piece highlights several recent causes célèbres among feminist and left-wing women online: rallying behind a woman convicted of strangling her three children to death, framing her as a “working mom” despite not having worked for at least eight months; donning hijabs in solidarity with a religion the author says forces girls to cover their bodies; and posting that Osama bin Laden “had a point.”

The column also decries celebrations of the killing of a young New York bank executive, saying the killer has been inducted into a “murdering hall of fame” alongside figures like Luigi Mangione, Karmelo Anthony, Tyler Robinson, and Lindsay Clancy.
“In 2026, women in America have it all, yet have lost our ever-loving minds in the process,” the author writes, blaming feminist icons Margaret Sanger, Gloria Steinem, and Judith Butler for helping to “destroy society in a megalomaniac pursuit of their man-crushing power disguised as freedoms.”
The piece concludes: “The only thing left for them to get away with is murder. And they’re pretty darn close.”
The column is an opinion piece that intentionally provokes, and its claims — about mental health statistics, public sentiment, and the motivations of those rallying around the figures named — are asserted without citation or attribution to specific data sources.
