The four posts were surfaced Thursday by Townhall columnist Dustin Grage, who set them side by side. As he put it, “She did it. Amy Klobuchar did it again. After getting caught recycling the same photo to show off her Vikings fandom, it turns out she’s been doing the exact same thing every Thanksgiving. You can’t make this stuff up.”

The senator, now running for governor of Minnesota, appeared to acknowledge the repeated use of a piece of apparel in her 2026 Vikings post, joking in the caption about wearing the same shirt to cheer on the team every year: “Time to get out the shirt.”
Grage and others responded that the issue wasn’t so much the shirt as the photograph itself — that Klobuchar wasn’t “getting out the shirt” so much as recycling the image that came with it.
Not the first time Klobuchar has drawn attention for odd headlines
The recycling revelations are the latest in a long line of eyebrow-raising stories about Klobuchar. The most widely known involves a New York Times report that dug into allegations she had treated her staff harshly. According to that reporting, a staffer once brought her a salad to eat on a plane but dropped the fork. Klobuchar reached into her purse, pulled out a comb and used it to eat the salad, reportedly telling the staffer, “Clean it,” when she was done.
Separately, during a 2019 interview as she pursued the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, Klobuchar admitted to killing a duck while playing golf. She laughed it off as one more reason she shouldn’t be allowed on a course, explaining that an errant swing had sent a ball flying into a duck’s head.
“It appeared to perish,” she said at the time, laughing uncomfortably before adding that, for the sake of the American bird population, she would refrain from playing golf in the future.
