Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH) will appear at a live, members-only Breitbart Fight Club event on Thursday, October 1 at 8 p.m. Eastern, the outlet announced, putting one of President Trump’s most vocal Senate allies in front of a paying audience for an interactive question-and-answer session.
The event will be hosted by Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow and Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle, according to Breitbart. The format is designed to let members interact directly with political figures — a setup Breitbart describes as unique to its Fight Club offering.
Moreno’s rise in the Senate
Moreno defeated Democrat Sherrod Brown in 2024, a win that helped Republicans flip a long-held Democratic Senate seat in Ohio. Since arriving in Washington, Breitbart reports, he has moved quickly to position himself as a leading voice for the America First agenda, acting as a key ally for Trump on Capitol Hill and working to bring like-minded candidates into the Senate.
With less than 40 days until the midterm elections, Moreno is expected to discuss a range of issues during the event, including the defense of American workers, opposition to globalism and China, and his stance on illegal immigration. Breitbart said the conversation will also cover his broader vision for the country’s future.
The event is part of an ongoing series that has featured a roster of Republican officials and conservative figures. Past participants, according to Breitbart, include Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), White House Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing Peter Navarro, Ambassador Mike Huckabee, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), and Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism Sebastian Gorka.
A members-only format
Access to the October 1 event is restricted to eligible Breitbart Fight Club members. The outlet is directing interested participants to sign up for its “Middleweight” membership tier, billed annually, after which a registration pass is sent by email. Those who join by midnight on Thursday, October 1 will receive a pass to attend, Breitbart said.
The membership package also includes promotional items: a coffee mug valued at $20 and a rocks glass valued at $15, per the announcement.
The event is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern / 5 p.m. Pacific on Thursday, October 1.
