Youth Football Coach Among 31 Arrested in Florida Child Sex Sting, Brought Sex Toys in Uber Eats Bag

A Polk County youth football coach was arrested alongside 30 others—including 17 Disney and Universal employees—in a human trafficking and child predator sting operation, according to local authorities.

Youth Football Coach Among 31 Arrested in Florida Child Sex Sting, Brought Sex Toys in Uber Eats Bag

A Florida youth football coach is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he brought sex toys concealed in an Uber Eats bag to what he believed would be a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

The coach, identified as 31-year-old Rashion Crayton, was one of 31 suspects arrested in a sweeping undercover operation targeting human trafficking and child sex offenses in Polk County. Crayton served as head coach of the Davenport Titans, a youth football team in the Mid-Florida conference that works with children ages 11 to 14, according to WFLA-TV.

Details of the Arrest

During Friday’s press conference announcing the arrests, Sheriff Judd revealed disturbing details about Crayton’s alleged actions. Investigators say the coach communicated online with someone he believed to be a 14-year-old girl, discussing plans to pick her up from school and engage in sexual activity in his vehicle.

When Crayton arrived at the sting location, authorities say he was carrying an Uber Eats delivery bag. Inside, officers reportedly found a battery-operated sex toy, lubricant, and other items allegedly intended for use with the minor.

“The next time Uber Eats shows up at your house, I wonder what was in that Uber Eats bag just before your McDonald’s,” Sheriff Judd said during the press conference, expressing disgust at the suspect’s alleged actions.

Crayton now faces four charges: traveling to meet a minor, use of a computer to secure a child, use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony, and attempted lewd and lascivious battery on a minor.

Disney and Universal Employees Among Those Arrested

The youth football coach was not alone in facing charges. According to Sheriff Judd, 17 employees from major Central Florida theme parks were also arrested in the operation—13 from Disney Corporation and four from Universal Studios.

Among those arrested was 24-year-old Collin Klaco, who previously performed as Mickey Mouse at Disney World. According to WFOR-TV, Klaco arrived at his meeting carrying a backpack filled with diapers and baby wipes. Officers say he intended to fulfill a sexual fetish involving a person he believed to be a 13-year-old boy.

Disney has since confirmed that all 13 company employees identified in the sting have been terminated from their positions.

Armed Suspects and Immigration Concerns

Sheriff Judd also disclosed additional concerning details about the suspects taken into custody. Twenty-four of the 31 individuals arrested came to their planned meetings armed, according to authorities.

Furthermore, 16 of the suspects were identified as individuals in the country illegally. Those suspects have been turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for processing.

Sheriff’s Ongoing Crackdown

This latest operation represents just one piece of a much larger enforcement effort in Polk County. Sheriff Judd noted that his office has arrested 281 suspects in sex-related stings throughout the current year alone.

“It is extremely disturbing when we encounter nasty child predators like these who are very eager to have sex with children,” Judd said in a statement following the arrests. “This is why we conduct these types of undercover operations.”

The sheriff has built a reputation for aggressive pursuit of individuals allegedly seeking to exploit children, regularly conducting multi-agency operations designed to identify and arrest suspects before they can harm minors.

Impact on the Community

The arrest of a youth football coach has sent shockwaves through the Davenport community, where parents entrust coaches with the safety and development of their children. The Davenport Titans organization has not yet issued a public statement regarding Crayton’s arrest.

The case highlights ongoing concerns about child safety and the potential for predators to seek positions of trust and authority over minors. Youth sports organizations nationwide have increasingly implemented background check requirements and safeguarding protocols in response to such incidents.

All 31 suspects arrested in the operation are facing various charges related to solicitation of minors and human trafficking offenses. The cases will proceed through the Florida court system, where defendants will face the legal consequences of their alleged actions.
