Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did not hold back when discussing Dr. Anthony Fauci during an exclusive appearance on Breitbart’s The Alex Marlow Show on Friday.
Kennedy, who has been a vocal critic of Fauci’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, said the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director was aware that he was not telling the truth to the American public.
“He knew that he was lying, and there was something about his character that made him feel that that was okay,” Kennedy said on the program, which airs weekdays from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern on the Salem Radio Network.
The remarks come as part of a broader push by the Biden administration to scrutinize the federal response to the pandemic under the previous administration, with Kennedy at the helm of health policy.
Kennedy’s Long-Standing Criticism
Kennedy has repeatedly accused Fauci of misleading the public about the origins of the virus, vaccine efficacy, and the use of certain treatments. During the interview, he emphasized that Fauci’s actions had profound consequences for public trust in health institutions.
“When the person who is supposed to be the top health official in the country is not straight with people, it erodes everything,” Kennedy said, according to the clip provided by Breitbart.
The Health and Human Services Secretary did not provide specific examples of the alleged lies during the segment, but he maintained that Fauci’s conduct was morally indefensible.

Fauci, who retired from government service in 2022, has become a polarizing figure in American politics. Supporters credit him with guiding the country through the pandemic, while critics have accused him of suppressing scientific dissent and pushing policies that were not grounded in evidence.
