In a piece published on The Daily Wire, the creator — who writes in the first person and describes themselves as a political content creator — details weeks of escalating censorship, including immediate video takedowns, mysterious “community guidelines” violations, and appeal processes that drag on for days, tanking viewership and revenue.
Videos Removed for Quoting Left-Wing Figures
The author says the crackdown began with a video about Twitch streamer Hasan Piker and the “New Left.” The video consisted entirely of quotes from Piker, his friend Abdul El-Sayed, and former Wisconsin Senate candidate Francesca Hong. According to the creator, Piker has said America deserved 9/11, expressed a desire to see the white race destroyed, and boasted about wanting immigrants to “f*ck” “your” sisters and daughters. El-Sayed reportedly campaigned at a mosque whose imam called for killing “infidels,” and Hong said she hates Thanksgiving.
That video was blocked immediately. A follow-up recap video mentioning Islamic foot-washing stations at Dallas airports and conservative activists exposing voter registration loopholes in Minneapolis was flagged within minutes. Another video about El-Sayed’s sister, a Columbia professor the author calls “America-hating,” was also swiftly removed.
Whispering Tactics to Evade ‘Big Brother’
To circumvent the platform’s filters, the creator says they began whispering or mouthing “trigger” words like “Muslim,” “Islam,” “rape,” and “sexual assault” — a tactic that often leaves videos half-mimed, which the author calls “absurd.”
Even with these evasive measures, success was limited. A video about a U.K. government pamphlet instructing foreigners on legal conduct had to be posted three times before it stayed up, after muting more words. That video got about 10,000 views on TikTok, while the same content drew 1.1 million views on Instagram.
A subsequent video about the Lindsay Clancy case, “understanding womanhood in 2026,” was also flagged and stuck in appeal for days, stalling viewership. Meanwhile, on Instagram, that same video was seen and shared by over five million people.
Even a “positive political news” video honoring Dolly Parton remains stuck in appeal, the author says, with no explanation.
Broader Pattern of Conservative Censorship
The creator claims this is not an isolated experience. They cite independent journalist Nate Friedman, whose video exposing an “Islamic takeover of New York” was banned and stripped of earnings, and conservative commentator Xavier DuRousseau, who was suspended and forced to complete “educational training” about “violent and hateful organizations” after multiple videos were removed.
“This isn’t just happening to me. It’s happening to nearly every conservative creator on the app,” the author writes.

The author emphasizes the financial toll: “One viral TikTok video could cover half my rent.
