Rosie O'Donnell Sings Feminist Anthem With Epstein Victims in Instagram Video

Rosie O’Donnell, the actress and comedian, has shared a video on Instagram showing her singing the 1972 feminist anthem “I Am Woman” alongside survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse. In the clip, O’Donnell addresses the women, calling them heroes and expressing sorrow over the lack of support they have received.

“I know it’s been very hard for you, and with very little support,” O’Donnell told the group. “And I’m sorry that our country is so messed up that this is what you have to live through, because you are all heroes.”

She went on to tell the survivors that they are “going to change how the world deals with child sex abuse,” before the group, all dressed in white, stood side-by-side and sang a rendition of Helen Reddy’s iconic song.

Context of the Video

In the caption of her Instagram post, which she published on Thursday, O’Donnell explained her motivation for the gathering. She referenced the “corrupt AG” — a possible allusion to Trump’s former personal lawyer — implying he did not believe that men accused of sex abuse would be charged as a result of the Epstein files, despite what she called “mountains of evidence.”

She wrote that she called some Epstein survivors and asked them to sing with her a powerful Helen Reddy song “that taught me at 10 years old to use my voice.” She encouraged her followers to show support for abuse survivors, quoting the lyric “Yes I am wise – but it’s wisdom born of pain…”

The video concludes with a series of portraits of Epstein victims from their younger years, followed by the messages “Support Survivors” and “The Epstein Files” on the screen.

O’Donnell’s Recent Social Media Presence

The video comes amid a series of provocative posts from O’Donnell on social media. Earlier this week, she compared the United States to fascist Germany and accused the U.S. of “raping children” in ICE detention facilities, in a video rant that was widely shared.

O’Donnell, who is 64 years old, has been posting increasingly unusual content on TikTok and other platforms since President Donald Trump took office last year. According to Breitbart News, in July she sang about the president’s “teeny tiny” penis and “dirty diapers” in a TikTok video, just days after claiming that Trump is “obsessed” with her.

O’Donnell relocated to Ireland earlier last year, where she has continued to produce content that often criticizes the U.S. government and political figures.
