AMLO's Son Blasts 'Hitlerian' Rubio After U.S. Revokes His Visa

The son of former Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has sent a blistering letter to President Donald Trump, accusing Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau of behaving in a ‘Hitlerian’ manner after his U.S. tourist visa was revoked.

Andres Manuel Lopez Beltran, the former president’s son, wrote the letter to Trump claiming the visa revocation is part of a political witch hunt aimed at targeting his father and Mexico’s ruling party, MORENA, according to Breitbart Texas.

Lopez Beltran’s revocation places him among more than 50 Mexican political figures—most affiliated with MORENA—who have had their visas pulled by the U.S. government. The State Department has not released the identities of all those affected or detailed the reasons for the revocations. However, several politicians who have confirmed their visa losses have been publicly tied to drug cartels or corruption.

Letter to Trump

In his letter, Lopez Beltran asks Trump to look into his case and wonders whether the president was aware of the visa revocation. He claims he does not know the reason given for the move. The letter also leans on leftist talking points, asserting that the United States is in decline due to poverty and racism, and that Trump still has time to remove Rubio and Landau in favor of ‘professional politicians’ who could save the country.

The letter comes just days after the State Department announced the revocation of visas for dozens of individuals linked to Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG), one of Mexico’s most powerful drug trafficking organizations. CJNG has been linked in court documents to large-scale fuel smuggling operations.

Fuel Smuggling Links

Lopez Beltran has been publicly linked to a network of government officials who have worked with drug cartels to smuggle illegal fuel in and out of Mexico, a practice known as ‘Huachicol Fiscal,’ as Breitbart Texas previously reported. In Mexico, Lopez Beltran has not been accused of any crimes, and it remains unclear whether sealed indictments exist against him in the United States.

The visa revocations are part of a broader U.S. effort to target individuals associated with corruption and cartel activity along the border. The Trump administration has not commented publicly on Lopez Beltran’s letter, and it is unclear whether the president will respond.
