Andrew Tate Indicted Again: New Charges Allege Sex With 15-Year-Old, Human Trafficking

Romanian prosecutors hit Andrew Tate with a new indictment Friday, charging the 39-year-old influencer with human trafficking and money laundering in a case that alleges he groomed and sexually exploited a 15-year-old girl. The charges, filed by Romania’s organized crime agency, accuse Tate of recruiting a teenager and subjecting her to years of physical aggression, emotional blackmail, and forced webcam work between 2012 and 2021, according to The New York Post.

The indictment alleges Tate forced the young girl to produce sexually explicit material and engage in video chats for his benefit. Separate allegations claim he had sex with another 15-year-old girl at two of his properties in Romania between December 2020 and mid-2021.

Andrew’s brother, Tristan Tate, 38, faces accusations of complicity. Prosecutors say Tristan managed the victim’s video chat accounts, physically mistreated her, and helped his brother generate more than $1.25 million in proceeds. The brothers allegedly spent that webcam income on four luxury vehicles that authorities are now seeking to seize.

Attorneys for the Tate brothers dismissed the fresh charges as a desperate “prosecution attempt” and pushed for bail. Federal prosecutors, meanwhile, have highlighted the brothers’ flight risk, pointing to hidden fake passports—including a Mexican document held by Tristan under the alias “Vladimir Scorpius,” a name lifted directly from a James Bond novel.

Extradition Fight and Broader Legal Woes

The new indictment lands while both brothers remain detained at the Federal Detention Center in Miami. They are fighting extradition to the United Kingdom, where they face 59 combined charges, including rape, human trafficking, and possession of child pornography.

Assistant Chief Constable Karena Thomas of the UK’s major crime unit confirmed ongoing collaboration with the Crown Prosecution Service and international agencies. “We understand the interest that this case will generate, but we would urge the public not to speculate and to allow the legal process to be carried out correctly,” Thomas said in mid-July. “There is no place for male violence against women and girls.”

The brothers were arrested by federal officials in Miami in July 2025. They hold dual US-UK citizenship and had been living in Romania since 2016, but returned to the United States in 2025 while Romanian authorities were still investigating them.

Further complicating their legal picture, leaked documents from Andrew Tate’s $2,400-a-year “War Room” network allegedly reveal a blackmail operation. The leaked course materials purportedly instructed followers to act like spy operatives, target wealthy CEOs, Hollywood figures, and athletes, and extract “compromising” sexual material to “penetrate them and get paid.”

The Tates have consistently denied wrongdoing across their various legal battles, with their attorneys portraying the latest indictment as another step in a protracted prosecution. The case continues to unfold as extradition proceedings and multiple criminal investigations move forward in parallel.
