Danica Patrick to Ride Air Force One With Trump to Kansas Rally as Midterm Sprint Heats Up

The former IndyCar and NASCAR driver is set to join Trump aboard Air Force One for his Wichita rally, Breitbart reports — the latest celebrity pickup in a ten-day campaign blitz with the midterms two weeks out.

Danica Patrick to Ride Air Force One With Trump to Kansas Rally as Midterm Sprint Heats Up

Danica Patrick is expected to accompany President Donald Trump aboard Air Force One for his rally in Kansas on Monday, according to an exclusive report from Breitbart News. The former NASCAR and IndyCar driver would become the newest celebrity name folded into Trump’s midterm push, which is now down to its final 15 days.

Patrick’s role at the Wichita event isn’t settled. Breitbart reported that it is unclear whether she will take the stage with the president, though every star who has traveled with him on this stretch so far has ended up there. Trump is scheduled to speak at 7:00 p.m. ET.

A Dense Run of Celebrity Surrogates

The Kansas stop fits a pattern that has defined Trump’s schedule over the past ten days. According to Breitbart, he has shared the trail with seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens in Texas, boxing legend Mike Tyson in New York, Super Bowl-winning head coach Jon Gruden and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Ohio, undefeated boxing great Floyd Mayweather in Arizona, and former NFL Offensive Player of the Year Todd Gurley in Georgia.

Patrick brings a different kind of profile to that list. She is the first woman to win a major IndyCar series race, a milestone that made her one of the most recognizable figures in American motorsports and carried her into broadcasting and business ventures after her driving career. Her crossover appeal — part athlete, part mainstream celebrity — mirrors the sort of surrogate Trump’s operation has leaned on repeatedly.

Her political history with Trump is not new. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Patrick hosted a town hall with then-vice presidential nominee JD Vance in North Carolina. At that event, she said she had never cast a ballot in an election before but felt she had to in 2024.

“I just want to say I’ve never voted before, but this time around, I have to vote,” Patrick told Vance, according to Breitbart’s account. “It’s that important.”

Vance pressed her jokingly on the point, asking her to confirm on record that she was voting for the ticket. Patrick answered, “1,000 percent,” and joked that she would vote twice if she could. Vance volleyed back that Republicans vote legally and only once. Patrick then quipped that voters could double their impact by bringing a like-minded friend to the polls — a line the vice president agreed with.

MAHA Ties and a Familiar Playbook

Patrick has also aligned herself with the Make America Healthy Again movement, speaking at a MAHA summit in Washington, D.C., last November. That movement, which has become a recurring theme in Trump’s coalition-building, gives her a policy-adjacent foothold beyond pure celebrity draw.

The broader strategy is one Trump used extensively during his 2024 run, when he brought a rotating cast of athletes and entertainers onto the trail. Breitbart reported that he is returning to the same approach in the midterm blitz, aiming to help Republicans defend their majorities in the House and Senate and pick up governorships around the country.

With control of Congress on the line and the calendar shrinking, the surrogate roster serves a practical purpose: drawing crowds, generating local coverage, and lending familiar faces to races that may otherwise struggle for attention. Whether Patrick’s appearance translates into anything more than a rally cameo — an endorsement, a fundraising role, or a sustained presence in Kansas races — remains to be seen.

For now, the confirmed detail is the flight itself. Patrick is expected on Air Force One for the trip to Wichita, with the rally set for Monday evening and the midterms close behind.
